After fresh rain and snowfall, the life in Kashmir was pushed to backstage Monday morning with most middle schools facing closure once again.
The schools which were about to open after seven months were closed as bad weather conditions forced many parents to keep their children indoors.
Meanwhile, the Highway has been closed once again, stranding many vehicles.
The continuous rain and snowfall has also triggered landslides in many parts. Late Sunday night, a girl namely Sameena, 17, was killed in a landslide in Surankote’s (Poonch) Safadawali village, besides other two persons.
According to Met Department, the weather is likely to improve on Thursday as “there are chances of rain and snow for the next two days as well”.
The fresh snow and rain also lowered the temperature.
