Rain, Thunderstorms Expected in Parts of JK Till June 3

   

SRINAGAR: The weather in Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain mostly dry over the next few days, with brief spells of rain or thunderstorms likely in some areas during late afternoons or evenings.

According to Kashmir Weather Forecast, on June 2, dry weather will prevail until afternoon. A fresh cloud band is expected to approach by evening, bringing rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds in several areas. Day temperatures will remain below normal.

On June 3, the region is likely to witness another spell of rain or thunderstorms with generally cloudy skies. Light snowfall is also possible over higher reaches. Temperatures are expected to stay below the normal range across all districts.

The weather will mostly remain dry from June 4 onwards, with only a slight chance of thundershowers in isolated areas during late afternoons or evenings. Between June 5 and 8, conditions are likely to stay generally dry, but occasional thundershowers may occur in a few spots. Day temperatures will gradually rise and may settle above normal levels by the end of the week.

Authorities have advised that thunderstorms may be accompanied by hailstorms and gusty winds in some locations.
