Kashmiris on the other side of the border, on Friday observed Jammu martyrs day to commemorate the massacre of Muslims in Jammu on November 6 1947, reports said.
Radio Pakistan reported that seminars and functions were organised all over the state to pay homage to the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir who sacrificed their lives “for the cause of Islam and Pakistan.”
“On this day thousands of Muslims were mercilessly butchered by Hindu terrorists of Rashtriya Sevak Sangh (RSS) near Jammu when they were on their way to Pakistan aboard trucks and buses,” added the radio report.
Almost 4 lac Muslims were mercilessly massacred by Hindu zealots on November, 6, 1947 in Jammu province of J&K.
