A driver, who went missing last evening after a boulder hit his vehicle on Srinagar Jammu Highway, was found dead on Friday.
Identified as Ayaz Ahmad, son of Abdul Qayoom Wani who was driving a passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK19 1721, from Shopain to Jammu, was hit by a large stone due to sliding at Battery Chashma in Ramban, and fell into a 200-ft deep gorge.
QRT Ramban and local volunteers launched a rescue operation and recovered his body today morning, an official said.
