Police on Wednesday arrested MLA Langate Er. Rasheed on way to Shopian.
Sources said that Rasheed was on way to Shopian when police arrested him at Zero bridge Srinagar. He was later brought to Rajbagh police station.
Rasheed was going to the house of the deceased lady who was shot dead by the forces at Batumuran, Shopian on Tuesday where also two militants were killed.
