J&K Police foiled the protest demonstration of lawmaker, Er Rashid early Sunday.
His party, AIP, had planned a protest demonstration outside CM’s residence on Gupkar.
Reports said that Rashid and his supporters tried to take out a march from UNO office but was stopped and taken into custody near Omar Abdullah’s residence.
“I was put into Ram Munshi Bagh Police Station and now have been pushed to Handwara,” Rashid told Kashmir Life
“We just wanted protest the killing of HMT youth by forces late Saturday evening,” he said, “but we are not allowed to mourn the death of our youth.”
