PM Narendra Modi visit is over but not the controversies. After Bali Bhagat took his fight with deputy CM Dr Nirmal Singh to RSS and PM had to abandon inauguration of Baglihar’s Human Resource training centre, another right wing lawmaker is in news.

This time it is Neelam Langeh.

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has filed a case against the Ramban MLA for forcibly placing his party banner –welcoming PM Modi – over the hoarding hired by the NGO.

“The NGO had placed a banner on the overhead foot bridge in Ramban Township, which happens to be the Langeh’s home constituency,” a report said.

Chairperson of the NGO (Swarn Kishore Singh) – PARMARTH – said that he had placed the banner of his NGO on the Masjid Market overhead Bridge in the Ramban Township to greet people on the festival of Diwali.

“I had sought permission of the Municipal Committee Ramban to fasten the banner on the bridge but yesterday a Cop. On the direction of the BJP MLA, BJP hoarding was deliberately over my banner,” Swarn Kishore Singh said.

Singh said, “as the Masjid Market Bridge is an important place in the town, the local MLA deliberately placed his hoarding over NGO’s banner violating all norms.”

The Secretary of the NGO Amresh Singh Gouria has also filed a written complaint with the SHO Ramban and sought an FIR against the Police official who covered the hoarding of NGO on the direction of MLA.

According to Swarn Kishore Singh, no action has been taken against the Cop so far.

MLA Ramban Neelam Langeh when contacted said that he had placed the hoarding with prior permission of the Municipal Committee Ramban.

“If someone has any objection regarding the hoarding, he may contact the Municipality Office Ramban,” he said.

Pertinently recently a video of the BJP MLA Naleem Langeh had gone viral where he is seen forcing his and his convoy entry into the under-construction Nashri -Chenani tunnel in the District.

The MLA was also seen misbehaving with the Engineers and workers at the tunnel who tried to stop him.
