SRINAGAR: National Conference has issued notification for the elections to the post of Provincial Presidents in Kashmir and Jammu provinces. The polls are slated for October 16.
Though a routine, the pols were necessitated by the resignation of Devender Singh Rana as Provincial President Jammu today. For the time being, the part has appointed Adv Rattan Lal Gupta as interim Provincial President of Jammu Province till the election process for the post is completed.
Party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sager has nominated Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan and Ali Muhammad Dar as election officers for Kashmir province and Dr Sheikh Mustufa Kamal and Anil Dhar for Jammu Province.
