SRINAGAR: The Embassy of India in Riyadh has advised Indian nationals in Saudi Arabia to remain alert and vigilant in view of the current situation and to stay indoors where necessary while following instructions issued by local authorities through official channels.
In an advisory issued on Thursday, the embassy also urged Indian nationals to refrain from circulating or reposting videos or news related to the ongoing events.
The Embassy of India in Riyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah, along with their outsourced services through VFS, are continuing to function normally, the advisory said.
The missions will issue further updates and advisories as and when required.
The embassy said the 24×7 helpline of the Pravasi Bharatiya Sahayata Kendra remains available to assist Indian nationals. The toll-free number is 8002471234.
The Indian community has also been advised to follow the embassy’s official social media accounts for updates, including its X handle @IndianEmbRiyadh, Facebook page IndiainsSaudiArabia, Instagram account indianembriyadh and LinkedIn page Embassy of India in Riyadh.
