A residential house was gutted in a fire incident at Mugam Awoora village in Kupwara district on Monday evening.
Fire broke out in the two story residential house of Bashir Ahmad Mir resident of Awoora village, resulting in complete damage to the house.
Besides, the house, a cow shed was also gutted in the incident which belongs to Shabir Ahmad Mir.
Locals said fire tenders and police reached the spot but it was too late to prevent the house from the damage. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
