Residents of Boniyar in Uri on Monday staged a protest demonstration against the killing of a minor girl who was found dead in Trikanan forest in Boniyar yesterday.
Scores of the residents from Boniyar and its adjoining areas assembled at Boniyar and blocked Uri-Baramulla road. The protesters demanded the arrest of culprits involved in the brutal murder of Muskan of Trikanjan Uri whose dead body was found in nearby forest area after 10 days.
The minor girl identified as Muskan Jan (9), had gone missing from her home in Boniyar on August 23. After ten days, Muskan’s body was spotted in the Trikanjan forests on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, police have also taken the cognizance of the case.
