District Administration Kupwara has issued magisterial orders imposing prohibitory restrictions under Section 144 CrPc within a radius of 200 meters around examination centers setup in the district for smooth conduct of forthcoming BOSE examinations.
The move according to statemnet is aimed at curbing the tendency of external interference and to ensure free, fair conduct of exams for class 10th and 12th to be held from February14, 2017. The order shall remain in force from the date of examinations till it gets over.
However, examinees, supervisory staff, and security personnel deployed for conducting examinations have been exempted from operation of the order.
