The district administration of Srinagar has decided to put in restrictions on Wednesday in Old City areas coming under five police stations. The restrictions have been extended to Parim Pora police station as well.
Hurriyat (g) chairperson, Syed Ali Geelani, had appealed people to attend a condolence meet of slain HMT youth tomorrow.
“The restrictions will be imposed in areas coming under Maisuma, Nowhatta, Khanyar, Parim Pora, Mahrajgunj and Safakadal police stations,” atop district official said.
An engineering student, Gowhar Nazir Dar, was killed in forces action on last Saturday evening hours after PM Narendra Modi addressed a huge rally in SK stadium here.
