Authorities have decided to impose restrictions in several parts of Srinagar in view of the ‘Eidgah March’ as part of Hafta-e-Shahadat programme of Hurriyat Conference (m).

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone told KNS that five police jurisdictions in the old Srinagar will be put under strict restrictions tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat Conference (m) chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has appealed people to observe “complete” shutdown across Jammu Kashmir on Saturday.

Mirwaiz urged people to reach Martyrs Graveyard at Eidgah in large numbers and make the programme a success as part of the Hafta-e-Sahadat to pay tributes to Shaeed-e-Millat, Shaeed-e-Hurriyat, Martyrs of Hawal and all martyrs of Kashmir.
