In Poonch Haveli, PDP’s Shah Mohammed Tantray, bagged 19488 votes and won by a margin of 3512. Tantray defeated NC’s face and sitting MLA, Ajaz Ahmed Jan. Jan in last elections had won by a margin of 9933 votes.
NC’s Ajaz Ahmed Jan secured second position and bagged 15976 votes. BJP secured fourth and INC is placed at fifth place with 11292 votes and 10289 votes.
Pertinently, ten candidates had contested and bagged 76, 215 votes andof these 25.56% is bagged by Tantray.
