PDP bags Islamabad, Karnah, Wachi and Shopian in Valley , BJP opens its account in Jammu and bags Hira nagar. NC bags Nagrota in Jammu. In Islamabad Mufti Mohammed Sayeed wins by a margin of 6007 votes and defeats INC’s Hilal Ahmed Shah.
In Karnah, PDP’s Raja Manzoor Ahmad defeats NC’s Kafil ul Rehman Khan, the sitting Minister by 5775 votes.
In Wachi, PDP’s Ajaz Ahmed won by a margin of 1789 votes and in Shopian PDP’s Mohammed Yusuf Bhat defeated an independent candidate, Shabir Ahmed Kullay by a margin of 2391 votes.
BJP’s Kuldeep Raj, wins Hira Nagar and defeated by INC’s Girdhari Lal Chalotra by a margin of 39284.
Omar’s buddy and NC’s Jammu face Davinder Singh Rana defeats BJP’s Nand Kishore by a margin of 4048 votes.
