In a communication, the Revenue Department informed the Divisional Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir and all Deputy Commissioners that the portal was being shifted from the NIC Mini Data Centre in Jammu to the State Data Centre following the closure of the existing facility.

The department said the State Data Centre had allocated the required hardware infrastructure and the application’s security audit had been successfully completed.

The migration exercise, along with associated technical activities, will be carried out during the five-day period from November 9 to 13. These activities include the implementation of SMS and email facilities and integration of the payment gateway.

During this period, the RevenuePlus Portal will remain completely inaccessible, and users will not be able to avail any services through it.

The department has asked the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to ensure that the information is communicated to all concerned field functionaries and the general public in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made and inconvenience is minimised.

The portal is expected to be restored after completion of the migration exercise.
