A fine of Rs 25800 was recovered from 40 shopkeepers of Anantnag town own for selling expired and sub-standard food items during a marketing drive held today under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Sheikh Ghulam Hassan.
He was accompanied by the officers of FCS&CA, Revenue and MC Anantnag. The team also seized 08 domestic LPG cylinders from Hotel owners of the town.
