On the opening of Civil Secretariat in Jammu on Annual Darbar Move, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Monday said two important legislations: Right to Information Act and Public Service Guarantee Act will be further strengthened. He emphasized that “the more we strengthen and widen the gamut of the Public Service Guarantee Act, the better the administrative performance.”

Omar said that the Coalition Government is going to complete its five year period within next few months and we are here to carry forward the development agenda as promised to the people and also complete various ongoing projects with added thrust.

Omar said we are also moving ahead with the road map of creating new administrative units and the Cabinet Sub Committee constituted in this regard has almost completed the exercise. He said the endeavor of his government to take development process to the door steps of the people will receive a new impetus with the creation of these units.

Omar said government endeavors to present a people friendly budget during the coming Assembly Session at Jammu.

Chief Minister reiterated the commitment and resolve of the Coalition government to fulfill developmental promises made with the people and carry forward the agenda of peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
