Paying glowing tributes to the “martyrs of Kashmir” and terming their “sacrifices as the real treasure of the ongoing resistance movement”, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (m) Saturday said the sacrifices of the life and property of these people during the past seven decades had brought international attention to Kashmir issue and urged the international community to help solve the issue as per the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir.

A delegation of APHC-m leaders comprising of Muhammad Musadiq Adil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Abdul Majeed Wani, Engineer Ahmad and Jaffar Kashmiri visited the residence of Manzoor Ahmad in Samboora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district who was killed in a gunfight and expressed condolences and sympathy with the family of the martyred youth and prayed to the Almighty Allah for “accepting his sacrifice”.

Welcoming resumption of Indo-Pak talks and expressing happiness over it, the Hurriyat (m) leaders urged New Delhi and Islamabad to solve all issues between the two countries including the vexed Kashmir issue and urged them to make talks result-oriented by including Kashmiris in it. “Kashmiris were the main stakeholders of Kashmir issue and without their aspirations this issue would not be resolved.”

They said, “Kashmir is a sensitive issue and the main reason for the prevailing uncertainty in the entire sub-continent and called upon both countries to take serious and sincere steps to resolve the issue so that peace prevails in entire subcontinent.”

The Hurriyat leadership also condemned the government forces’ “violent actions against the peaceful protests in Pulwama”.

Meanwhile, the amalgam spokesperson expressed his heartfelt condolences with the families of slain killed in Chaderkote fire.
