To review the relief measures taken by the District administration in the region and to expedite the relief and rehabilitation measures put in place by the State Government for earthquake hit people of Bhaderwah, Minister for Planning and Development, Ajay Sadhotra on Sunday convened a meeting of the District and Sectoral officers in Bhaderwah.
While speaking on the occasion Minister asked the officers to ensure accurate onground assessment of damages in the region so that all the affected people get benefit of the relief and rehabilitation programme. He asked the officers to provide tents to those affected families whose houses have been severely damaged due to quake.
The Minister also announced that the distribution of free ration sanctioned for the earthquake affected families will start from tomorrow which has been sanctioned by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah . He asked the officers to ensure proper and equal distribution of ration among the affected families so that each and every affected family gets relief.
