Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar Sunday visited Kalantra Payeen, in Baramulla district, to express condolence to the bereaved family of slain Sarpanch and NC worker, Javed Ahmad Wani, who was killed by unidentified gunman last week.
The Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Ghulam Ahmad Khawaja and SSP Baramulla, Anand Jain, Director Rural Development Kashmir, Mohammad Altaf Mir and other concerned officers.
While expressing solidarity and sympathies with the bereaved family, Sagar prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
The Minister assured the bereaved family for every possible support and assistance from government.
