MLA Handwara Sajad Lone has called the killing of two youths as unfortunate and the government should carry out an “impartial, time-bound inquiry” into the killings.
“The loss of two youth is very unfortunate. An impartial and time bound inquiry should be taken up into the killing,” Lone said.
He said that law of the land should apply and the police should ensure that no more loss of life takes place.
Lone expressed sympathy with the bereaved families of the two youth.
Two youth Mohammad Iqbal and Nayeem Qadir Bhat were killed by forces during protests against the alleged molestation of a girl by an army man. (KNS)
