SRINAGAR: Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo has directed the release of pending salaries for National Health Mission (NHM) employees on Wednesday.

In a post on X, Itoo stated that the administration is dedicated to supporting healthcare workers and ensuring timely financial assistance for their services.
“I have passed directions for the release of salaries for NHM employees. The government remains committed to the welfare of healthcare workers and ensuring timely support for their invaluable contributions,” she wrote in the tweet.
The announcement comes after NHM employees voiced concerns over salary delays and urged the government to resolve the issue at the earliest.
