SRINAGAR
Unidentified gunmen shot at Sarpanch Ghulam Mohammad Lone, at Kullepora, Lassipora in district pulwama, Monday evening. Police spokesman told Kashmir Life that Lone died on spot.
He added that Ghulam Mohammad Lone son of Abdul Salam Lone, was a Sarpanch and he belonged to ruling National Conference.
Police and forces have cordoned the area and the search for the gunmen was on when reports last came in.
