Omar Ishaq Mir, son of Muhammad Ishaq Mir was abducted and later killed in North Kashmir’s Tujjer late last night, sources said.
“Omar was kidnapped late Saturday evening by unknown persons and today morning his body was retrieved from nearby fields,” local sources said,
Omar, 19, is son of a Congress Sarpanch and are residents of Tujjer, Sopore.
The police sources said that Omar, apparently doesn’t have any bullet injury.
“It seems the cause of his death might be some rivalry and apparently has occurred due torture,” they said. Meanwhile police are looking at all angles and investigation is on.
