SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has opened the package preference stage on the Nusuk Hajj platform for the upcoming Hajj season, aimed at pilgrims from countries covered under the Direct Hajj Program.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the phase enables intending pilgrims to view and compare available service packages based on service level, inclusions and cost, and to select up to five preferred options before the formal booking process begins.
The ministry said the move is designed to help pilgrims make informed decisions in advance, while also allowing service providers to assess demand early and prepare for the Hajj season.
SPA reported that the Nusuk Hajj platform provides several tools to streamline the process, including package comparison features, indicators of package popularity, the option to pay deposits in instalments through a digital wallet, and access to a list of approved service providers.
Eligible pilgrims have been advised to register on the platform or update their existing profiles, ensure personal details are accurate, and add information about accompanying family members to facilitate verification and speed up approvals.
The ministry reiterated that Nusuk Hajj is the sole official platform for Hajj services for Direct Hajj Program countries and warned pilgrims against dealing with unauthorised entities. It said all bookings and payments must be made exclusively through the platform to protect pilgrims’ rights and ensure proper procedures.
It further clarified that the announcement applies only to countries under the Direct Hajj Program, while arrangements in other countries will continue through their respective authorised systems.
