SRINAGAR: All government and private schools across District Baramulla will reopen on Wednesday, May 14. However, schools in the Uri Subdivision will remain closed.
According to a communiqué issued by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla, schools falling under Zone Uri, Jhulla, Chandanwari, and Boniyar in Subdivision Uri will remain closed as a precautionary measure.
“All other schools shall function normally from tomorrow,” the officer said.
The decision to keep schools shut in the Uri Subdivision zones has been taken in view of the prevailing situation to ensure the safety of students and staff. (JKNS)
