SRINAGAR: The administration in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district has directed that all government and recognised private educational institutions will remain open on Tuesday only for teaching and non-teaching staff, with students barred from attending until further orders.
According to a circular issued by the Chief Education Officer (CEO), all staff members have been instructed to report to their respective institutions and carry out essential administrative, academic, safety, preparedness and other institutional responsibilities.
The order makes it clear that no student will attend or be permitted to attend any educational institution in the district on July 28.
The arrangement has been put in place until further orders, with the administration directing school staff to ensure institutional readiness while student attendance remains suspended.
