Educational institutions resumed normal functioning following an improvement in the weather, bringing relief to thousands of students, parents and teachers after nearly a month of disruption to academic activities.

Students were seen attending classes across the district as schools welcomed them back for offline learning.

The schools had remained shut as a precautionary measure in view of heavy rainfall and the prevailing weather conditions that affected normal life in the border district.

With weather conditions improving, the authorities permitted the resumption of regular classes. School authorities made necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth reopening of educational institutions.

Officials said academic activities have resumed across the district, while the administration continues to monitor the weather and overall situation.
