The summer vacations for schools and colleges started from July 6.

The Jammu and Kashmir government had on Friday dismissed rumours of summer vacations being extended and said schools will open as scheduled.

News stories from last year were being circulated on social media about holidays being extended, forcing the government to issue a clarification.
