SRINAGAR

The government on Tuesday decided to extend the closure of schools in Kashmir valley for further one day in view of the incessant rains and flood like situation.

Education Minister Naeem Akhtar told KNS that in view of the weather forecast, government has decided to close the schools for one more day. Pertinently, the state authorities on Sunday had decided to close all educational institutes up to 8th class for two days in view of incessant rains and a flood-like situation in Srinagar and adjoining areas.
