SRINAGAR: A Scorpio vehicle became stranded in Nallah Sindh near Sonamarg on Friday after a reported attempt by a group of youths to perform stunts with the vehicle, prompting a rescue operation by police and local residents.
According to reports, the vehicle entered the water channel during the alleged stunt attempt and subsequently got stuck, following which police and locals began efforts to retrieve it.
The Station House Officer of Police Station Sonamarg, along with a team of police personnel, reached the spot after being informed about the incident. Local residents also joined the operation to help pull the vehicle out of the nallah.
The rescue efforts were continuing when the report was filed.
