The Government on Friday ordered re-constitution of the Screening Committee for promotion of IPS Officers to the grade of Director General of Police/Additional Director General of Police or equivalent posts.
According to Government Order No. 681 -GAD of 2019, in pursuance of the IPS Promotion Guidelines and in supersession of Government Order No.37-GAD of 2019 dated 08.01.2019, the sanction is hereby accorded to the reconstitution of the Screening Committee, comprising the
following, to consider the promotion of IPS Officers to the grade of Director General of Police/Additional Director General of Police or equivalent posts.
To be headed by Chief Secretary, BVR Subrahmanyam, the Committee comprises, R K Goyal, Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Department, Shaleen Kabra Principal Secretary Home and Dilbag Singh, Director General Police as Members.
