SRINAGAR: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) on Saturday continued its search for a Srinagar resident feared drowned in Nallah Sindh at Preng in the Kangan area of Ganderbal district.
The search operation entered its second consecutive day after Danish Bilal, a resident of Malbagh Dargha, Srinagar, reportedly drowned while bathing at Preng on Friday.
SDRF teams from Ganderbal and Gund launched a joint search and rescue operation following the incident and resumed the search on Saturday to trace and recover him.
Rescue personnel continued efforts at the site to locate Bilal in Nallah Sindh. His body had not been recovered when the operation continued on Saturday.
