SRINAGAR: As part of a joint operation, security forces arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in the south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Wednesday.
A senior police officer said that a joint team of security forces in Kulgam intercepted an individual during a Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) on NH-44 at Thokerpura in Kulgam.
He said the arrested individual has been identified as Ubaid Khurshid, a resident of Thokerpura, Qaimoh, Kulgam.
During the search, arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession. (JKNS).
