A Seminar on the concept of Linkage of Annual Credit Plan (ACP) with the District Development Plan (DDP) was Friday held at conference hall mini secretariat Ganderbal.
The Seminar was organized by Punjab National Bank Area office, Srinagar as a follow up action on the decisions arrived at in the last State level Bankers Committee meeting. Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat presided over the seminar.
Delivering the key note address, Deputy Commissioner, dwelt at length on the objectives of linking the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) with District Plan. He exhorted upon the officer to contribute all possible inputs to realize the basic purpose of this link-up which primarily aims at to spur the development of district. The representatives of the RBI and PNB also elaborated on the subject while highlighting the expected positive outcome of the move.
The officials of the line departments as well as bankers actively participated in the proceedings. The doubts and reservations of the participants were amply addressed to by the Chairman. All the participants acknowledged that the seminar has definitely helped to clear concept of integration of ACP with DDP, though yet in incubation.
Among others CPO Ganderbal, District Officers, Bankers, and RBI representatives were present in the Seminar.
