SRINAGAR: A series of mild earthquakes struck parts of Maharashtra’s Marathwada region in the early hours of Thursday, with tremors felt in Nanded, Hingoli and Parbhani districts, according to multiple media reports.
As per Hindustan Times, the tremors were recorded between 1:37 am and 3:23 am, with magnitudes ranging from 3.6 to 4.6 on the Richter scale.
Officials said there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage following the seismic activity.
Authorities are monitoring the situation, while further details are awaited.
