Seven persons injured in two separate road accidents

Seven persons were injured in two separate mishaps in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Reports said that a vehicle skidded off the road at Lisana resulting in injuries to two employees. The employees were on the way to Mendher for Election duty when the mishap occurred.

The injured employees Mohd Shabir and Mohd Bashir have been hospitalized. In another incident, an Echo vehicle met with an accident near Devta Dhargloon Mendhar resulting in injuries to five persons.

The injured have been identified as Azia Javed (16), Haseena  Gulzar (17), Zeenat  Fardoos (18), Menhaz Kouser (40) and Qayoom Khan (50) all residents of Sandote, Balakote.

All the injured were taken to government Primary Health Center Dhargloon where from Menhaz Kouser was later referred district hospital Rajouri for further treatment. (GNS)
