SRINAGAR: A seven-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle in the Paribal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
They said that the minor was hit by a Tata Sumo in Paribal village in the Hajin area of Bandipora district. She has been identified as Ifrat, daughter of Manzoor Ahmed, a resident of Paribal Hajin.
They said that soon after the incident, she was taken to the nearby hospital CHC Hajin, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, the police have already arrested the driver, while further investigation is ongoing. (KS)”
