SRINAGAR
Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only road link to valley with rest of the world, opened Tuesday afternoon after remaining closed for three consecutive days due to snow fall in the Banihal, Patnitop area.
Official sources said that stranded vehicles were allowed towards their destinations after which traffic was allowed from Srinagar to Jammu.
They added that no vehicle is allowed to travel from Jammu to Srinagar.
The highway was closed three days earlier following heavy snowfall.
