SRINAGAR: The crescent for the month of Shabaan has been sighted, and the first day of Shabaan will be observed on January 31.
Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Nasir-ul-Islam said that the crescent has been sighted and officially confirmed the date of first Shabaan January 31.
“The crescent has been sighted, and we have received credible witness accounts of the sightings,” Mufti Nasir said. (JKNS)
