Paying glorious tributes to Sheikh Abdul Aziz on his 6th death anniversary, Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leader Shabir Ahmad Shah Tuesday said that “all martyrs including Shaheed-e-Azeemat [Aziz] were above the fright and greed spread by Indian government and its local collaborators time to time”.

“It is these martyrs who know the value of freedom and were above the worldly greed and lust for power. Those who don’t know the value of freedom girdle around assemblies and parliament for minister-ship,” Shah said, adding that the people of Kashmir very well recognize the elements possessing slave ideology and those who fight for freedom have their unique identity.

Reiterating that peace in south Asia will not be possible unless all stakeholders of Kashmir issue are taken on board, Shah expressed satisfaction over the statement of Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif regarding his supportive stand vis-à-vis Kashmir.

Terming the statement of British member parliament David Ward as an eye-opener for India, Shah said the British MP’s suggested to start a debate over the human rights violations in Kashmir citing the reason that the lingering of Kashmir issue is not only a detrimental for Indo-Pak relations but also a threat to world peace. “I express my satisfaction that human rights violations committed in Kashmir are being discussed in British.”

Terming the incessant attacks on Gaza strip by Israel a warning to Muslim World and Third World, Shah said unless or until we unite, Israel will continue to commit such heinous crimes.
