Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has condemned the highhandedness of the Delhi police on JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik and also condemned the attack on Pakistani prisoner in Kotbalwal jail Jammu.

DFP said that the foiling of the proposed hunger strike by JKLF at Jantar Mantar in Delhi is the worst form of political vendetta. “If Kashmir’s are not allowed to demand their rights though peaceful means then it could have serious consequences,” party Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah said.

Shah while condemning the highhandedness of the Delhi police on the JKLF activists including Malik, Javaid Ahmad Mir, Shabir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Shabir Shas said that the government is directly responsible for the incident.
“The arrest of Malik sahib along with his members and their subsequent shifting (pushing) to Valley in undemocratic and oppressive method which is highly condemnable,” Shah said.

He also said that attack on the Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah in Kotbalwal jail is an act of revenge and is highly undemocratic and inhuman act.

Expressing his sympathy Shah said that the attack on Sanaullah was an inhuman act and said that the Indian government has launched a very bad approach of vengeance.
