SRINAGAR

Shabir Ahmad Shah, senior resistance leader and chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), will submit a memorandum to the United Nations Military Observer in Srinagar, giving details of atrocities to the Kashmiris by army and other forces.

The memorandum will also have an appeal to the United Nation Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, to fulfill his responsibility by resolving Kashmir issue according to UN resolutions or through tripartite talks so as to prevent the South Asia from war.

Shah and almost all the separatist leaders have called for a complete strike on October 27.

It was the same day in 1947, when Indian army landed in Srinagar. Separatists call the Indian forces in Kashmir as “occupied forces”.
