The father of the slain girl Shaista Hamid alleged that her daughter became a prey of ‘target’ bullet. “My daughter was sitting on the veranda of the house. Army targeted her and fired two bullets, one hit her neck and another pierced into her head,” Abdul Hamid told CNS and trashed police claim that Shaista was killed in cross-firing.
Two civilians were killed on Sunday when protests erupted in Lelhaar area of Pulwama after an encounter broke out. Two youth of 23 and 19 years old were killed in forces action.
“Army killed my daughter who was a bright student. Police added salt to our injuries by making false claim. My daughter was killed in cold blood by Army when she was present on the veranda of her house,” he said.
