In accordance with the Public Service Guarantee act a fine of Rs 1500 have been slapped on the SHO Beerwah and two other police officials, for delay in providing the required services, police said on Wednesday.
In a surprise check conducted by SSP Budgam, it was found that some of government employment and passport verifications have not been cleared for more than 30 days by police station Beerwah, although these verifications were supposed to be cleared within one month under Public service Guarantee Act.
