SRINAGAR
One police personnel died and another injured critically when unidentified gunmen shot at them at a very close range in Lal Chowk area of the city.
The eyewitnesses told Kashmir Life that they saw two men in uniform in a pool of blood after a brief shoot out which creating panic in the most busy and commercial hub of Srinagar.
Sources said that one injured succumbed in the hospital while as another is struggling for life. They added that the police personnel were identified as Nazir Ahmad Hajam and Mohammad Maqbool.
However, police spokesman told Kashmir Life that the death of any injured was not confirmed.
