The second injured police man also succumbed to his injuries in the hospital after a brief shoot out at Lal Chowk on Saturday after noon.
Two police men were shot at by suspected militants in the business hub of Srinagar. One died on reaching to the hospital while as another injured fought for life for almost an hour and later on succumbed.
“The second injured police man also succumbed later in the hospital,” Police spokesman told Kashmir Life.
The eyewitnesses told Kashmir Life that they saw two men in uniform in a pool of blood after a brief shoot out which creating panic in the most busy and commercial hub of Srinagar.
