Family of missing BUMS student, brother of an IPS officer, on Monday filed a missing report with the police in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
A police officer confirmed the filing of the missing report and said that investigations have been speeded up to trace out the BUMS student, Shamsul Haq.
Official sources told GNS that the youth Shamsul Haq son of Mohammad Rafiq Mengnoo, a resident of Dragad village at present Srinagar, is missing since May 22, as per the family.
Haq is pursuing Bachelors of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) from a government college here in Zakura campus. The missing youth is the brother of an IPS officer who is serving outside Jammu and Kashmir.
